Sorry biff about the late reply. I have just been moving (like you) and things are finally starting to settle down. I will try the resistor quick-fix this weekend and let you know on how it goes. In regard to your two options you have talked about - which is the least impact on the circuit (since I have already built it)? Also, I thought I should mention this (I know we should take it a step at a time) - would it be possible for me to have the output resistance a little lower than normal? ie. if CPU header is 7V, I have 5V going to fans ie. 2V or whatever below CPU fan header voltage? Would be good if I could change this variably as I please. Just something to think about. Cheers, Alvin
