I have a d-tek heatcore and three 120mm fans. Two 120mm are at the back, one in the front w/ the heatcore. The rear fans are installed in the case as exhaust. Front fan blows into the case through the heatcore. It would be really easy to turn it around so that the front fan sucks air through heatcore into the case.

right now I have it as:

<- rear case bezel <- rear fans (2) <- inside case <- heatcore <- fan <- front case bezel <-

"arrows" indicate direction of airflow. This was the easiest solution, but I don't think it's very efficient? If the front fan is the only one drawing air into the case, (and with a lot of resistance from the heatcore), then I should have a slight vacuum in the case. Any suggestions for improvement?

    Thanks!

Put the rad on one of the back fans.

Most heatercores arent that restrictive on flow....If you feel it might make a difference you could turn off one of the back 120mm fans or reverse flow of the air *back to front* but changing where the heatercore is so its getting cold outside air..

You could also add a second fan & shroud to the rad in a push/pull set up. This will increase your CFM into the case & as a side plus you should see a small decrease in water temps.

This second rad fan could be taken from the rear of the case & with a cardboard & duct tape shroud test this for yourself at no cost at all & one 120mm exhaust can handle the inflow from the push/pull set up. You can, if you like this setup, add a filter inside the case to cover the opening if it was cut with a hole saw along with a more permanent shroud.

    G'luck man.
