whats the easiest way to connect four fans each controlled by a fan controller and running of one molex, im asking because i have never needed to run so many fans can i power them all using one molex connection ? thanks
Yes you CAN run them all off one molex connector. The question I have to ask is why would you want to run them all off one connector? I have an old AT PSU that sits outside my case with a single molex connector going in and I run 2 120mm and 4 80mm Sunyon fans off of it. I like that the power isn't being used for any of my drives though.
just wondering if ya could run them of one molex are they easy enough to connect up then all the fans that is when they are being controlled by the fan controller
how much current does those fans draw? i think you can load one cable with up to 3-4 amps... mabye more...
I'm not sure what you mean by this exactly. The four fans will run off one molex connector no prob. If you are trying to run all four fans through one controller, you may have probs. You need to know what the current draw is on each fan and what the total current the fan controller can handle. You don't want to fry your fan controller from too much current
