I've been trying to get farcry to work over lan, but when I try to connect to his computer I get kicked straight away. On his computer it says
    "woof connected"
"woof detected to be cheating" (or something like that)
    "woof left the game"

Strange seeing as I do not even know the cheats, anyone know how to solve this problem? Perhaps a console command that he can run that will allow alleged cheaters to join?

    Thanks

Umm, think you need to turn punkbuster on. If it is, it may be related to cracks or no-cd's, if you're running any, although I don't think they cause many problems generally.

Either you are not working punkbuster or you are running the same CD key. If I remember correctly, Far Cry servers will kick anyone with a duplicate key. I think I also remember that not runnning punkbuster on the server will get around this. It's been a year or so though.

I know about the problem and that it was a fairly easy work around. I just don't remember what it was specificly. Try not running PB on the server. Its LAN so no point anyway.
