Holy crap that tower is HUGE, you could fit like 3 PCs in there....
Actually, about a dozen...
thats sick are they any good?
IT WAS NOT UPSIDE DOWN IT WAS NOT UPSIDE DOWN
ROFLMAO! Maybe we can all learn a lesson from this-CHECK before you do tons of unnecessary work, but I am sorry, this is really damn funny when you FINALLY check to see if it actually will fit in another way, and it turns out it does, lol!
Don't be sad I think it looks cool with the new plexi mount I like what you're doing And it would be very cool if you went away with the stone theme and made the whole case in a stone theme That would be sooo cool and something I've never seen before.
Good luck and keep modding
dont feel bad even though lots of people said that before it still looks cool especially since more light can come out the back if you have cathodes or somethin
THe USB Situation
Well, after conquering the power supply situation by making an acrylic back to mount to the case I moved on to the "CASE HAS NO USB PORTS IN THE FRONT" situation. There was a little unused space above the top fan and below the floppy drive, so I planned to mount the USB circut board under the floppy drive.
I cut those little tabs off and crossed my fingers hoping the usb circut board would slide through and there would be enough room to clear the two hard drives that will share the drive bay with the floppy.
So now I took the USB case and cut off everything but the face plate, then glued it to two pieces of acrylic, making a new face plate.
While cutting and messing with the USB situation, I totally trashed my grey stone paint job on the fan intake panel, so I took all the paint off and this time bondoed it to the whole front panel and at the same time bondoed the usb face plate to the front panel as well.
I must say, as a fellow n00b to mo.dding, it looks awsome, i am going to keep tabs on this project..
BTW, my first full computer build/major Modding project will be started in the Middle to the end of the summer, I am but a youngling at 14...
lmao how the hell?
?, whats so funny...
Tank Girl, i just took another look atr some of your pics and i have to say, NICE Bike! What model?
2000 Sugar One
Nice...so any progress on project FAST BETTY???
So here is my Almost finished case!
Yep, all I have to finish now is the top. I hate the fact that the two reservoirs are gonna have to sit up top, but that's the current plan! Esentially, at this point I'm simply going to transplant my current setup. 4 Raptors, 3.0GHZ P4, Audigy 2,Asus p4cdeluxe, 875chipset and 1gigCorsair PC3200 memory into the new case. Currently, only my CPU is cooled via Inovatech, and I'm still running solid at 3.6 with 90-100 FPS. My dad sent me money for PC 4000 corsair memory for my birthday, but I bought an IPOD instead.... I figured, with upcoming PCI express, 64 bit CPU, DDR-2, BTX cases...why spend $400 on memory! But, was my first case mod, and it is almost done...so what....I'll have a hell of a media center... Cuz it'll be **** for gaming come next year! I'll post again when the whole dang thing is done!
an excellent PAINT JOB!
Great speckle paint job I like the window too!
progress!!!! yeah, it looks awsome TANK GIRL the paint job looks awsome now. Are you going to put a fan grill or something over the front two blowholes? (otherwise you may loose a finger or two )cant wait ill the inards are in, and everything is all cleaned up!
Set to work on the top and made alot of progress! Put holes in for the radiator, fan, and mounted the plate for the reservoirs.
