    This was mine.

    Nissan Pulsar GTI-R Japanese Import

    I owned this car a few years back and had it tuned to 400bhp 1.2bar boost. Uprated turbo, Forged pistons etc...
    0-60 was 3.8sec top speed 165mph.
    Being 4wd it lefted every car I ever raced off the lights.
    Never seen the car before? Check youtube.com for some fast 10sec 1/4 mile drags leaving Skylines, Scooby's and Evo's behind in the dust!!

    Chevrolet S-10 Blazer with the standard 4.3 L Vortec 4300 L35 V6, SCFI, 190 hp (142 kW)/250 lb·ft

    I've never taken it to top speed, it tops speed is most likely around 110 mph

    both engines are pretty much the same, the s13 import came with the redtop same engine as the pulsar that didn't have VVT and the s14 came with the black top with VVT, but i stripped the VVT out and added new cams and timing pulleys anyways

    A remapped and tuned MK1 Ford Focus 3 dr hatch, 1.8 TDCi 116bhp (stock) when it was bought, and was in the region of 140-150 bhp when sold :) It was never driven past 130 so we'll just say for the sake of arguing that 130 was it's top speed.

    Did you block off the EGR valve to stop the black soot coming out the exhaust? That would allow it to rev up easier and gain a few horses.

    So basically it would take you 1 hr to do 60 miles. Lol hope you don't plan to drive to far.:D

    math fail. the fastest car I owned was radio controlled. Never owned a real car

    it would take you 1 hour to do 60 miles if you were travelling 60 miles per hour for the entire journey. Given that we are talking about acceleration, it's about half less assuming constant acceleration to 60 mph, i.e. 30 miles covered in an hour. As the acceleration of a car is not constant, it is probably less.

    double math fail.

    a = (Vf-Vo) / time
    a = (60mph-0mph) / (1h)
    acceleration = 60 miles per hour per hour

    d = 1/2at^2 + Vft
    d = 1/2(60mph per hour)(1^2) + 60(1)
    displacement = 90 miles

    It's my brother's car, but I've done about 180 km/h in a Chevy Cruze (2.0 VCDI). That car is quite possible the most responsive and twitchy I've ever driven. Horrible brakes, though. Nearly killed me more than once.

    VW Passat V6 Variant. So far, I've managed 128mph (on GPS). I think it will do a bit more but its pretty much out of steam at 115. Pushing further needs a loooot of running room.

    A golf Mk 5 GTI 2.0 Turbo 147kw (~200bhp)
    0-100km/h (i.e. 0-62 or so mph for you imperial measurement folks out there) in 7.2
    top end of 215km/h advertised, which I have driven, and GPS measured.
    Bought it for a bargain, sold it 6 months later because it was a POS, and because I could make a profit off the sale.

    I own a not-slow-and-incredibly-fun-to-drive 1.4l turbo Fiat Bravo now. 110kw (~150bhp) stock.
    0-100 in an edvertised 8.5, but with good tyres and a solid drive-in, (the stock Potenzas don't grip well on that car) I've managed 8.2.
    Top end of 205km/h, I've done 210 GPS measured.
    Next up for that car: new intercooler (one that actually does something), better flowing exhausts, Suspension from the sports model, and a little ECU remap. That should be good for about 140-odd kw then (i.e. Golf GTI power), and with the better suspension a 0-100 time of just under 7.

    That 1.4L engine in that car is just special. It revs up quickly, it growls like a bigger car, and the slightly loose suspension makes for some incredibly fun driving moments when it's being thrashed about.

    Fastest car i've driven IN was my mate's Skyline GTR32.
    1/4 mile in <11 seconds reliably.

    Fastest car I've driven myself was an AMG C63

    Late Model Dirt race car, Had a 350ci v-8, that ran on avgas, and put out around 550 HP and revved to 7k rpm. It was a direct drive to axle and would accelerate to 100mph in about 3-4 seconds. And remember this was on dirt :p.

    Another contender would be our 1971 Chevelle SS with a 454... It's burns 12in wide tires on demand... :)

    But the car with the highest top speed would probably, be my dads 1992 Mitsubishi 3000GT

    So basically he would only cover 30miles in the first hour and then after that he will continue to do 60 miles each hour.

    I didn't realise I set my self open for an exam lol:D
