So say Chaintech! They've just launched they're new 5950 'ultra' based GFX card, and they believe they've got a world beater:

Waddinxveen, 25 November 2003 – Chaintech launches their latest graphic card the SA5950U based on the Nvidia GeForce FX 5950 Ultra chipset. With this card you are able to run the most complex graphic applications and games on the highest resolutions possible.

If you are the fanatic gamer who wants to play the latest games with all options set to the max. Or you are the high demanding PC user looking for the best combination of power and performance. This card will certainly not leave anything to wish for.

This sublime graphic power produces a lot of heat of course. But with Chaintech’s exclusive double fan design this should not be a problem at all.

The Chaintech SA5950U has the Nvidia “The way it’s meant to be played” seal. This seal is an ‘install and play’ guarantee. This means that games with this seal will certainly run without any problem. This software automatically selects the optimal settings for your configuration. A great number of the most recent games have this label.

    The specs are as follows:
    • NVIDIA® GeForce™ FX5950 Ultra Chipset
    • 0.13u process technology
    • 256-bit advanced memory interface
    • 256-bit graphics architecture
    • 475 MHz engine clock
    • 950 MHz memory clock
    • 400 MHz internal RAMDAC
    • 356 Million vertices/ sec
    • 3.8 Billion texels/ sec fill rate
    • 30.4 GB/sec memory bandwidth
    • 8 pixels per clock rendering engine
    • 16 texels per pixel with 8 textures applied per clock
    • NVIDIA CineFX 2.0 Engine
    • NVIDIA ForceWare unified software environment (USE)
    • High-performance, high-precision 3D rendering engine
    • High-performance 2D rendering engine UltraShadow technology
    • NVIDIA Intellisample high-resolution compression technology (HCT)
    • Advanced pixel shaders
    • Digital Vibrance Control (DVC) 3.0
    • NVIDIA nView multi-display technology
    • Unified Driver Architecture (UDA)

Is it the fastest? we'll have to wait for reviews before we can say, but it certainly looks good on paper.
