    Hallo

I am new here and am hoping you can help me with a problem.

I have a Digimate LCD sreen 19" 4:3. The screen started failing with the display going black. It could be restarted by switching it on and off, but after a day this failed to work any more and then would only light up for a few seconds before going out again.

I have been reading up about these and found that it could be either the tubes or the inverter. There are 4 tubes on this (2 top and 2 bottom).

I have stripped the screen down and taken the tubes off the screen but still in their holder. Testing it on a bench I can see that only one top and one bottom tubes lights up. If I reverse the tubes connection to the inverter then the other tubes will light up. So I am guessing that it is the inverter at fault, unless it could the external PSU.

I have found a possible source for a replacement

but an not sure how I would identify the pin outs from the mainboard to the inverter.

I would welcome any advice or comments on this please.

    Regards

    David

I would think that it's the inverter or the main board. To make sure, check the cables (from Power supply to mainboard) for the 5v. And then the PSU to inverter for 12/24vs.
