Max Payne 2 - The Fall of Max Payne. Totally brilliant story line and so engrossing it's unbelievable.
At the moment, Ninja Gaiden on Xbox. HL2 is up there, and probably my favourite single player game ever. The original PS1 Gran Turismo took away a big chunk of my life. As did Street Fighter on the SNES.
It would have been great if it wasnt just like sitting there for 3 hours watching a movie, ocassionally shooting people. I spose it's like a "movie with user input" that literally was 3 hours long. Dont get me wrong, i LOVE the max payne series but i thought theyd have stretched out the game a little.
Erm Champ manager series have always been some of my fave games. certainly spent the most times playing them
Lemmings ... over took my life Mario 3 - lots of hours as a kid more latley - unreal tournament ( 1st one) and c&c half life + mods
thats a hard one for me... loads of games are great.. Total annihilation battlefield 1942 (and mods) HL2 GTA etc got loads.. only really buy good games
Streets of Rage 2 on Mega Drive Resident Evil 2 on the PC, playing with a Voodoo1. Halflife Doom series (original) Xcom 2: TFTD (used to give me nightmares, i never completed it as it was impossible - even after i edited the config files to make my men uber) CS 6.5-7.1 beta, CS golden era imo. CS1 ruined it. Im sure there were more. EDIT: SYSTEM SHOCK 2!! Best FPS EVER /pwns hl1 I wanna see more Jedi Knight games - first person FPS with lightsabres. Original Street Fighter 2 Turbo and Mortal Kombat on the mega drive.
Favourite game of all time is Dark Reign. I got this game about a year or 2 after its release and it had a major impact on how I forsaw the future (yes, laugh it up). It was utterly breathtaking for the graphics back in those days. I also loved Dark Reign 2, even though most people hated it Myst/Riven/Exile, love, need to get the 4th (and upcoming final game) Currently it's WoW, and MxO is pretty good, surprisingly. Though right now I don't see it lasting. MxO has some good short term commitments, but the long term stuff, all there is is upgrading your skills to become l33t. Not much endgame stuff I forsee.
