Proper old games? I suppose the one that'll stay with me (and yes it pwns Keen out of the water as a 2D platformer) is Duke Nukem 1. So perfect... I also started on my RPG habit quite early, anyone remember Moraff's World or Moria?
Goldeneye and Mario cart64 as someone mentioned before... Command and Conquer, one of the first ones, before the first red alert, can't remember name though, was like one my first games. ALso flight simulator 98 ^___^ LOL
No two ways about it Bobble Bobble.... Best games EVER!!! but honorable mentions for magical drop, puzzle boblbe, bad dudes vs. dragon ninja and golden axe....
Waht's Bobble Bobble, is it some gameboy game, I can't remember my favourite gameboy games, obviously one of them is super mario land or something, back when I used to play on my huge grey cased black n white screened gameboy.
C64: Platoon (or was it for Amiga 500, most likely for both) Spy vs Spy Spy Hunter Much more that I forgot over the years Amiga 500: Faery Tale Adventure (was released for PC, yay for DosBox) PC: Civilization Colonization Genesis (or Genesia can't remember) Falcon 3.0 (still one of the best) Ultima 6-9 Ultima Underworld 1&2 Commander Keen series Leisure Suit Larry series
recently got back into old school doom after playing Doom 3. Have been playing using the .wad from my original copy of the game with the all new 3d engine and models from the Doomsday project at www.doomsdayhq.com. Well worth checking out, retro fans.
Apple: Miner 2049er Marble Madness Arknoid Mac: Asteroids Chopper Lift Arcade: Defender Stargate Defender Robotron Tempest Centipede (Basically anything Williams) Atari: Kaboom Intelevison: Astro Samsh NES: Tetris Spent many nights in the arcade near my house playing the Williams games. If anyone knows the name Peacocks Palace, PM me. Don't laugh at the list I was born in 69' so the Apple II+ was the coolest machine on the market.
Who remembers Manic Minor? Great platform game on the Specy. Never did pass the 5th level. By the Way Video Olympics was what Atari called Pong when it was released for the 2600 back in 1977. Can you beleive its that old? David
