gah i love to hold my glass in the palm of my hand to keep it warm i love laphroaig warm. each to their own i guess
Soft Drink: Cherry Coke Drink Of Choice: Whiskey and Coke Beer: Corona or Carlsberg Summer Drink: Pimms and Lemonade or Guinness!
Ill usually drink tequila, rum, vodka or laphroiag with a single ice cube, any other whisky without, cognac and armagnac neat as well
Soft: Dr Pepper Beer: Hoegaarden/Frambozen Wine: Neethlingshof Gewurztraminer (even though I'm not a massive fan of white)
Non alcoholic: Gotta be water. I drink about 4 or 5 litres a day! Alcoholic: Vodka Tequila and Red bull
Hot Drinks - A nice double espresso if I'm sitting down and enjoying it, or if I'm on the go - a big cup of decent quality black filter coffee. Soft Drinks - Hrmmm, Coke is alright. Irn-bru is rather refreshing at certain times too. I'm partial to the odd Dr. Pepper too. Can't beat a glass of orange juice that you've just freshed squeezed yourself, either. Beer - I'm into my real ales although I wouldn't be able to pick a favourite. Usually prefer something bitter. Spirits - I'm a fan of a lot of the fine single malts produced up here. Can't really say I've developed a perfect pallet yet, though. Glenmorangie, Glenlivet, The MacAllan etc. with some ice is all good to me. Jack Daniels is rather tasty too for a casual few drinks. Might as well add "What do you smoke?" to this, too? Prefer american cigarettes on the whole. My daily smokes are Lucky Strike Red. Occasionally Camel or Malboro Red, too.
Soft - Dr. Pepper or lemon ice tea Juice - Pure orange juice, preferably not from concentrate (normal or blood orange) Beer - Augustiner Helles or Franziskaner Weißbier Mixed - Whiskey Sour Hard - JD
soft: Mt Dew non soda: gatorade juice: orange with pulp (that way I can chew what I drink) beer: not too picky mixed: whiskey and coke shots: vodka
soft: Mt Dew non soda: gatorade juice: orange with pulp (that way I can chew what I drink) beer: not too picky mixed: whiskey and coke shots: vodka Although since Im not of age I would never try any of those last 3
Booze free: water Soda: Mt. Dew Beer: Guinness is the best but its a very heavy drink (you can't drink it all night long). I'll normally drink a Stella or a Kronenbourg. I'm also a fan of Coopers (found down under) and Boulevard Wheat (made in Kansas City). American beer (from the major makers) is generally swill and shouldn't be touched. Spirits: Vodka and Tequila... there are many ways to mix these Mixed drink: Long Island or Margaritas (you're gonna get plowed drinking these all night)
Hmmm... Laphroigh whiskey... I have it straight. Other favorites: - Wray & Nephews white rum (there ain't no other), on wedges of lime with crushed ice and brown sugar; - Stolychnaya Vodka (again, there's no other), straight; - Budvar beer (not the weak Budweiser crap), although Stella will do in a pinch; - any good wine. My favorites are a good Amaro Negro, an Amaretto or Valpolicella; also a good dry Vino Verde from Portugal. Amongst the champagnes I avoid Moet Chandon (undermatured crap) or Dom Perignon (overhyped crap) but like a Charlses Heidseck or most champagnes by small independent producers. Non-alcoholic: - water - dark roast coffee, black, no sugar - green or white tea: Orange Pekoe (not so much Mung Chee), Phoenix Jasmin, Mao Feng, Pai Mu Tan, Quing Yun. Also a good smokey Japanese, but it has to be a really good one.
Beer: Alexader Kieths. (it's a "semi-local" beer from Canada) Liquor: Baccardi. Any kind will do. and then Tap water...
soft: coke + lemon + ice hot: black tea no sugar beer: bombadier (or most other ales then guinness if no real ales on) spirit: whisky - which one depends on mood!
Soft Drink: Iced Tea Beer: Carlsberg - although tbh I've gone off all beer for the past few months Spirt: Quadrouple Vodka with coke Juice: Pinapple
during the day I drink coffee, three sugars, milky, or dr pepper/coke. Alcoholic: Stella, or Peach Schnapps, or vodka (with mixer - fresh orange is good, unless it's very good vodka in which case straight with a bit of good charlie to go with it. no, i'm not in the mafia.) I do appreciate the odd glass of red wine here and there too. And rum. No whisky though.
Whisky is more often than not meant to be drunk with water, and ice depending on preferance...most english pubs will give you a jug of water when you ask for whisky! For me, Soft: Ginger beer Juice: tomato cocktail: bloody mary beer: Jupiler spirit: amaretto or goldschlager wine: some sort of Paulliac or a Pomerol..as for white, a grand cru chablis or some sort of drier reisling.
Since when? I've been to loads of pubs and when ordering whisky I've never had a jug of whater to go with it! It is a strong drink, but I've never tried it with water!
