    I wonder if notification will be sent to victims outside of the US. It's scary to think one in ten web pages are booby-trapped with malware. I guess I'll not surf anywhere without checking the system every day.

    Have the latest anti-virus and firewall updates and stay away from the warez + dodgy pr0n sites and you'll be fine.

    That's a frighteningly-high figure. However, it's baseless sensationalism by Network World and other morons who can't understand plain written English and/or prefer shock value to truth.
    So 450,000 out of the original N,000,000,000 = Not anywhere near 10% :sigh:

    Yeah, install Firefox and NoScript and you'll be safe from most sites.
    I surf pr0n, warez and all sorts of other sites and never have an issue with the FF+NS combo. :)

    Doing it from behind a router is also a good idea.
