Modding FDD modding

i have one that i moved the LED to the center of the eject button anyone else mod one and if so share i have 4 more i need ideas for

 

hrmm sounds intresting, got pics of it in action?

i was gonna put a window on mine but scratched that idea and just stripped the drive.. everyone thought it was genious but i thought i was just being lazy..

the old LED opening covered up? bondo or something? bondo = duct tape in a can

I still cant see exactally how you got that button. is it sliced in half with a thin peice of plexi inbetween to transmit the light?

i cut a slit down the center of the button and glued a piece of plexi in the center and took a really small file and smoothed it out and glued 2 LED's behind the plexi... 1 just wasn't doing the job so i added a second.
