    Played the multiplayer beta and didnt think it was anything much worth holding out for.
    Then again I thought that about the single player too.

    i thought the singleplayer was incredible.

    that one part where you go up the ladder.

    scared the hebbiejeebies outta me ._.

    i too was on the multiplayer beta.... honestly i think cs:s is a lot better... id say u need at least a geforce 6 to run smooth....
    single player was amazing.... multiplayer was lacking... not sure how but it was.

    IMO the game is almost too demanding for today's hardware unless you're packing the best. That said, it's still on my list, next to quake 4.

    the multiplayer is seriously dumbed down, so it should run better on your pc graphics wise

    I'm running a 6800GT, an NF7-S, and a 2GHz Duron ( :rock: ) and I can run it in high detail, 1024, w/4xAA & 16xAF.. and it's fine.

    Well, it was perfect once I'd defragged the old array a bit.

    Yes the Duron could be better, but it was fine to be honest.

    Just proves you dont need brand new hardware to run F.E.A.R. :eeek:

    seems to be ok @ 1024x768, medium detail, Radeon 9600XT 256MB

    i got a beta cd key off a m8 (he got 5 extras with his preorder)
    ive enjoyed the mp although dont really like any of the weaps apart from the shotty
    the slow mo i havnt used much (its a game type)
    you pick up the object thingy and it charges and then u can use it and everyone goes slow mo. im not sure how it works or what advantage you get but i think only you and/or your team has the ability to mouse look at the same speed the oppositions mouse look slows down i think

    hope thats clear enuff to understand and maybe translate to more common english :|

    I think it's like bullet time in max payne where you speed up and are able to pull off some ballsy shots that would have otherwise seen you headshotted.
