Unless I'm missing some obvious option, it would be nice if in future releases of the Xonar Audio Center there was an option for automatic speaker fill (upmix stereo to 5.1/7.1/whatever your current setting is without having to change the number of audio channels manually). My Realtek (and some C-Media) cards could do this anyway.
late bump, also want this feature. recently went from 2.1 to 5.1, and wishing it will do this. also, what's wrong with iTunes? it isn't registered by the Xonar control panel.
