Just got back from Bloodstock and I'm all metalled out.

Many good bands, Municipal Waste, Sabaton, Apocalyptica, Arch Enemy, Turisas, Wolf, The Haunted and so on.

Europe sucked until they played TFCD >.>

Those are my idiotphone snaps if anyone's interested. Some non-band stuff at the start, followed my some mostly **** stuff of Apcalyptica, Arch Enemy, Wolf and Sabaton. I was too busy rocking out like a madman to take any others.

Sabaton all signed my iPhone though, so many happies.

Bloodstock was fantastic! Defo going again, band of the weekend for me has to be Eden's curse with amon amarth a very close second. Turisas were very entertaining also. What I liked even more were the people, some seriously funny dudes at BOA the star wars cantina march was brilliant!! And raiding the quiet camp, sure its childish but the sight of 90 drunk metalheads letting out war cries and charging full pelt, complete with flags is something that will stay with me for a long time :D even the stewards thought it was funny.

Yeah, it was a good laugh!

Amazingly I managed to get sleep, even next to the path way in camp A. Where abouts were you? If you were in camp A there's a chance I was drunkenly running around and high-fived you >.>

Next year should be a good one, it's the tenth anniversary. Ought to be some good stuff on.

Apparently they're naming some of the bands this Friday, so we'll see what the list'll be like.

We're only a few days away, so anyone got plans?

I'm heading for the top of Orange, next to the Country Griddle.

Lol you probably did! I was in camp A too, after queuing up for 3 hours I just wanted to get the tent setup and do some exploring plus I dont think camp B was open at that time anyway. I was next to the main path about half way down from the urinals that flooded every morning and the port-a-loos at the other end. Defo getting a ticket for next year when they come on sale.

    You on about Reading?

I was planning on going to orange too. One of the places that won't be packed after I've had to pick up my gcse results from Maidenhead.

Have a good weekend. 3 days!

Haha, those queues were tops! We arrived fairly 'early' (IE: at 12), and still spent an hour-hour and a half waiting. Ahwell, fortunately there was beer to console the whole.. sitting around thing :D

Yeah, those urinals were baad. Even the ones in Beni didn't get that bad, and they were in high 30c heat for 9 days, and far fewer!

Ahwell, I'll be going again next year if I can.

Well now it's all over I feel confident in laughing at my friends who sold their tickets due to this year's "weak line-up". Weak my arse:

Faith No More, THEM CROOKED VULTURES (!!), Deadmau5, Soulsavers, Eagles of Death Metal, Florence & the Machine to name but a few of the great acts :D It was a fantastic weekend. I saw sooo many good bands.

The arena was bloody enormous this year, and how good were those toilets?! Well done Festival Republic. It rocked.

Dammit! I always wanted to go to the festivals but I've never been... seems none of my m8s are all that interested. I even live in Reading now so no excuse. Maybe next year

I was right in the thick of it for the mosh pits in lost prophets. One of the best bands of the weekend

My favourites were Prodigy, Enter Shikari, KoL, Them crooked vultures and Deadmau5.

    A truely awesome weekend :)
