few heat/fan problems need urgent help!

    Just finished my fanbus :D. I kinda made a mess of the soldering so is doesn't look too nice inside plus I melted a bit of the hobby box by accident. :rolleyes: It took me about an hour to make. :rolleyes: I suppose that shows how crap I am :)

    It works fine though and I've got my two out take fans hooked up and running again. :D I feel like I've truly accomplished something and am starting to become the modder I've always wanted to be.

    And now when someone says:

    "You didn't actually build your PC.....you put it together"

    I can say "Well actually I did make part of it" :dude:

    well done. :D

    if you don't want to ruin any fans you can hack up some 3 > 4 pin adapters and en take of the 3 pin par and plug that into the fanbus and then the fan 3 pin plug in to the adapter.

    Thanks for the idea LazyDemon. :) Wish I'd thought of that a few hours ago :D

    I just thought to my self my 3 pin mobo connectors don't work anyway so what the hell *snip* *snip*.

    lol, fair enough


    i did it with my baybus. I got them from overclock.co.uk and they were only 70p each.
