What do you get if you mate a Shuttle with a beer keg? A mess, probably, as you'd need to get rid of all that beer first - and it'd be a pity to waste all that liquid bread... And picking up a dremel under the influence is not to be recommended. ;)

However, FIC seems to have done the business (and done it well IMHO), with it's tubular SFF PC:

HANNOVER, GERMANY—It's not cool to be square anymore, according to First International Computer Inc (FIC). The Taiwanese computer company chose CeBIT to roll out its radically styled small-form-factor (SFF) PC—not rectangular, but cylindrical.

The striking looking Piston, which comes in silver, blue or red, includes all the standard SFF features. A large handle on top makes it easy to cart the system from place to place. A custom designed cooling system pulls air in from the front, and is then funneled through air flow guides to cool the processor and other components.

More, along with pics, here. Love it or hate it, it certainly isn't square. :D

Nice the worlds most fastest flashlight. Anyway I kind of like it except for that handle.

I'll reserve comment to "interesting". Not sure i like the colours and it looks plastic = baaaad. If it was all anodised alu it would be nicer. I like the front, but there must be a lot of space wasteage since computer components are generally rectangular. Anyone remember trying to put the rectangular brick through the circle hole as a baby? It doesnt fit.

I think manufacturers should quit trying to reinvent the wheel.

In a way, it reminds me of G-Gnomes WMD.

WMD is alot nicer, it still looks good though.

However it is a known fact companies look at mods and "borrow" from them.
