I have similar problem. I have changed my video card. I had no problems before playing FIFA 2005, NFSU and NFSU2 with my card at 64MB but now I use NVidia GeForce FX 5500 128MB and the video of the games flicks. I use the driver from the CD of the card /ver 6.1.7.6/ and still haven't updated it, because I have heard that some games go better with older driver. Do I have to try updated driver or there is any way to solve the problem with settings ?
    Thanks!

    Monitor refresh rate problems ?

Or you could try playing Winning Eleven 8 or Pro Evolution Soccer for the PC :D

    :) It's not because of a game.
It's not a problem to play the games this way. It's a little irritating but it's possible to play - it just freeze the picture for parts of the second. But what I want is to get the best from my video card. And I want to know if there are some settings this to be done or I have to try with newer driver version.
    Thank you!

I would suggest going to NVIDIA.com and downloading the latest drivers - ForceWare 66.93. :)

66.93 is not the latest. I found also 67.02 and 70.40beta but 66.93 is the one from the offical site of NVidia and my idea was it to be the next thing I will try. So... thanks for your suggestion - it helped me to have less hesitations :D
I will write when I have any result :)

Refresh rates? There's plenty of programs out there to lock refresh rates - powerstrip, refresh lock, reforce, nvrefresh tool, setting in nvidia drivers?
    I use refresh lock myself
