Windows .file

    I have a "file" in my documents, what can i use to view it?

    It goes into the "windows cannot open this file" when you click on it, so what can i use. Im sure its just a folder but it contains some music and i dont know how to open it.

    Thanks guys.

    PS if its in the wrong forum i didnt really know where to put it.

    Folders are just files but with the folder attribute set. I think there's a command to set file attributes in dos. May have to do some googling to find out more.

    try opening it in notepad, jus drag and drop the file in if windows moans about opening it

    if it's a folder then try typing it in the address bar e.g.

    \my documents\file\

    hit return and see what happens
