Case Mod - In Progress FINAL: AluDark

At me it is not so good with colloquial English so I shall tell about work by means of photos Earlier I usually did cases of a tree or plexiglas, but have decided to try to make of an aluminium structure.

Part the first: Base design.

Now the frame is completely collected from an aluminium structure of square section. Before was some version from a structure and a corner.






However I managed to make necessary arches of a square structure so the frame should be altered.

 

Part the second: painting.

On a balcony of a film has made the painting chamber in which the base has been painted in matte black color.




Not so accurately, but almost all internal part will be hidden by the external hinged case.

 

Part the third: system of water cooling.

As a result of a victory over one of our competitions I became the owner of system of cooling Ice Hammer IH-NIAGARA FULL.



Alas, in my opinion in it there were some constructive mistakes which to me needed to be corrected for the best work and service.

Wow! That aluminum arch is so cool. The bend is flawless.

 

From aluminium there will be only a base bearing design, On idea - an external decor - cellular polycarbonate with overlays. How to make out top and the bottom parts I still yet has not solved (structurally)

 

The chassis looks well done. Keep up the great work!

I don't like the Thermaltake case, but then again, custom cases always look better in the end. Great work so far!

 

The small comment. The given work I expose on competition " the best моддер 2008 ", passing at us in Russia. Competition long also is already declared, so I will have many competitors

Where did you find Tinted Cellular Polycarbonate. I have only ever seen it in clear, have used it for green houses and things of that nature. I like the looks of the case and the shape is very unique keep up the good work!!

Very small addition - couple of days was engaged in connection of the house of a dishwasher. To press facing the case, has decided to use carving rivets.

 

Nice start. This looks interesting.
