    Just set mine up, works great. I don't think I'll be able to go back to CD's in the car again. :thumb:

    Anyone know how to make the text scroll yet?

    Sorry to bring this thread bac, but I've got an album from the iTunes store, and as it's a locked .m4p file It wont play on my headunit in my car :(

    Anyone know how to get around this, I just want to listen to the music I paid for in the car.

    i tunes i believe is drm protected... if you can get around that then it should work..

    i dont actually no if you can... i no most itunes stuff is for ipod or other itunes friendly devices...

    OMG thread from the dead :eek:

    The display on my head unit is no longer working, everything else is working but the display, so cannot see what I'm pressing, time etc..

    Everyone else ok or similar issue?

    My screen went a while back. stupidly sent it to be repaired which didnt help then i just gave up and brought a new head unit with same abilities..

    cost of repair outweighed the cost of the head unit and the cost to replace.

    same thing happened to a mates unit which was a different model to mine. same thing just replaced it as its cheaper.

    I think the repair was hitting £130 or something like that so i just left it with them.

    I've not changed the head unit in the Mustang for appearances sake.. but out of curiosity, what better "tech" solutions are you talking about?

    As this is old but a really sweet idea, whats availble now 1) decent headunit and 2) I can plug a hdd into to play my music?

    Hard drive? Pah. I'd grab a 32GB flash drive and plug that in instead, much less chance of death due to our knackered roads.

    i just get round with my aspire one in the passenger seat. 160gb hdd, usb gps, bluetooth and touch screen kit :thumb:
