After a long day of being in the state of indolence, I took the plunge into applying the ordered Polygfx skin to my laptop.

The skin itself was pretty easy to work with and any air holes that appeared seem to disappear quickly on their own without the aid of the squeegee. The only thing that seemed to be bad about the skin was the fact that the clear film is easily scratched. I found this out while smoothing every area down with the supplied squeegee.

The scratches only make themselves known when your nose is about 2-3 inches from the skin. The surface eveness of the skin is, as you can see from the pictures, good enough for reflection. If you look closely at the skin though, about 2-3 inches, you can see some surface bumps scattered loosely around enough to slightly distort the appearing image.

Here are some pictures of the skin:

The application process, for me, took about an hour and twenty minutes since this was my first time and I had to make all those cuts.

Edit: Yes, for those of you who noticed that I have decimated the curveness of the Asus z71v laptop... I can not cut/draw in a straight line and surely can not cut/draw a curve.
