Upgraded to 6 but I can't see any difference... are there any new features or is it just bug fixes (and broken plugins)?
Is there anything you don't know how to do in about:config? Damn handy tool though. It seems silly that after taking such a long time to go from 3.6 to 4, they're incrementing major version numbers this fast. On the old numbering scheme, these changes would barely have warranted increases in a build number never mind a full version.
What I know how to do in about:config, and in userchrome eliminates the need for me to run heaps of extensions, as many of them do nothing more than tap non user friendly settings that already are built in or addable. I'm down to only 1 extension anymore, which is abp. A lot of big changes are going into new versions, just not where the end user see them. There is big focus on improving engine elements right now, instead of outward user features. Even 8 doesn't have any big noticeable changes from a user perspective, at least not so far, but its still a1.
if i am being totally honest, i didnt know of any firefox was created after 4, and in all honesty again i didnt like the way they made that. Since then i gave ie9 a try and i loved it works a lot beter for me
I need to retract my earlier enthusiastic remark, that they finally fixed the scrollbar rendering issue in FF6 which has existed since FF4. It's still broken. At this point I don't even dare think about if and when they'll have it fixed. FF14 perhaps?
They updated it, yes, but I like FF for the plugins that can be used with it, but they are mainly not compatible with it yet. Even with 5th version.
