Firefox absoluteloy refuses to remember any passwords, despite telling it to. Cookies are being saved, and can see them in the list, but each time I visit a site, including this one, I have to type in my details.

    Here's how firefox is set

    I'm baffled.

I've cleared all existing cookies, offline data... cleared everything, and tried again, but it refuses to automatically log me in when I visit a site I told it to remember.

    Any ideas?

I've not actually changed anything... it was fine yesterday.. not today.

This sorta happened to me after the microsoft update on tuesday. Only, it remembers some passwords, and not others. I've not found a way to fix it yet, and it's rather annoying.

Hmmm... I've not updated anything. I've not installed anything... done anything.. not even so much as given it a dirty look.

    I hate this random ****!

    Anyone else?

I may uninstall, and re-install Firey Fox.

In fact I went one further, and just restored from my last back up, which is never more than 48 hours old.

All is well. I've no idea what caused it however. LOL

I had the same problem. I can't for the life of me remember what it was but I had to delete/alter a file somewhere.

I know this is highly useful information, but I can't refind the solution :)
