Firefox Hits 50 Million Downloads!

    Since the November 2004 release of Mozilla Firefox 1.0 there have been over 50 million downloads, the figure is still rising!

    LOL... I've downloaded from the site to use on maybe one computer like 10 times... Even though it's downloaded that many times. How many of those are the same person?

    then some people will download it 1 time and put it on loads of computers. It likely averages less, but i wouldnt say its proportionate!

    And its still a step in the right direction! IE is teh going down :)

    I'd hope that 50m is measured on unique IP downloads - not just 50 million straight requests for 'firefox.exe' from all of the mirrors combined :)

    Still, way to go FF and :p to IE :)
