The reason they didn't submit the flaw to Mozilla foundation to get the bounty is because its known about.`

I did'nt think to much about the flaw, even if there is one or not, but I didnt stop using firefox, but I did believe their claims, becuase I don't know anything about Firefox's Javascript. But looking at it now I think me and other people were pretty cretinous to believe two hackers... c'mon there hackers!

Who are the people who know the most about security flaws? The security consultants or the hackers? Hackers every time. Thats why they get employed to find loopholes, so its no wonder everybody believes them. And the flaw does exist it just isn't a serious threat.

not really funny and kind of dumb as a publicity stunt (makes the hackers look stupid)

Can you imagine if in any other industry someone did this?

"Today two mechanics revealed a fatal flaw in Ford cars that may result in something really bad"

    :wallbash:

Hello lawsuit, done for libel etc. Surprised that Mozilla aren't trying to get the hackers balls handed over in a small ornate presentation box.

maybe they have a financial interest in Opera? If you remember, IE was mentioned in the same presentation, but Opera was not mentioned anywhere.... ;)

Disabling JS would have been too easy and you wanted something more extreme? You silly boy.

Actually, that's what I hate about so-called Web2.0 - everything's AJAX, so all of your sites break if you disable JS.
