Is there some way to set firefox so it behaves like ie when clicking files that you want opening. The main example is streaming video. if you click open file in firefox it downloads the file then passes it to media player, (ie would pass it straight away and media player would dl it)
Just want to know how cause its annoying having to copy the url into MP.

    Cheers

    Ned

if you 'open in default application' it should do that on it's own. Normally you need a plugin to make it work in browser but playing in independant WMP, you just need to open it.

it doesnt though. It downloads the file in firefox first and then sends it to the application.

    Not great for streaming stuff!!
