Don't confuse NukeNabber with a firewall, cos it is not...It is intruder Detection and tracing application. I doesn't block traffic, just detects it. It is available Here if you want to get it, I would only recommend using it to confirm attackers details if you know you are being attacked, not as a "fire and forget" firewall.

    Quote from Securiteams Website:

NukeNabber listens on specified ports and for incoming ICMP packets. Upon receiving an incoming connection, it will wait for about 10 seconds and read up to 1k of data. If more than 1k of data is received, it's simply discarded and the port is closed (The program stops listening for incoming connections on that port). Optionally, a sound can be played, and a message can be sent to your IRC client, and various reports can be generated in an attempt to gather information about the attacker.
Unfortunately, NukeNabber does not act as a firewall as it will not block potentially harmful incoming packets before they can crash your system. That means that you must patch your operating system for NukeNabber to successfully trace down the malicious attacker.

    Hope this helps

A decent enough firewall should REJECT connections to ports you don't want people to access. Nukenabber doesnt reject anything, it actually opens the ports to the outside world so port scanners can pick up on your computer.

Get a firewall that will block all ports, and stealth you; then hackers wouldnt even know you were there.
