As some of you have already discovered, Maui X Stream has finally relased Cherry OS, the Mac emulator that was long thought to be at best a rip off of Pear PC and at worst vapourware of the highest calibre. From the Inq:

MSXINC HAS introduced an emulator called Cherry OS which it claims allows you to run Mac OS X on a Windows XP operating systems.
The $50 package comes with an installer which allows both CherryOS and OS X to be installed - and allows the use of a number of Mac applications including Safari and Apple Mail.

The system requires a Pentium 4 1.6GHz CPU or equivalent, 512MB of memory, and 3GB of hard drive space, but doesn't come with OS X, which can be downloaded separately from the Apple site.

More after the L'inquage, along with links to the Cherry OS site

[EDIT] I've had a traul of the 'net and have yet to find any performance figures or user reports as yet. Has anybody given this a spin? If so, care to give us an idea of what to expect?
