So here she is my first case mod . Not the most complicated or high spec of builds but never the less the whole experience has drawn me in " hook line and sinker " . It started off with my run of the mill pc making a horrible noise on start up and before i knew it i had bought everything i needed for a new build. The name " Covert 300 " comes from the case (300) and the fact that i have had to hide the fact that i have spent far too much money on this build . I've had hardware hidden all over the house for months right under the nose of my lovely wife ! It really has been a covert operation ! Sorry there are no work logs , but i will be posting worklogs on my next build . I've already got the next case lined up . ( can't wait ! )

The Acrylic Panel looks nice, but surely thats blocking a lot of air the 2 120mm fans are pulling in? Any reason for the Drive in the second bay? Im going to paint the inside of my Case soon, thinking either Red, White or Black, not sure yet, will probably go black....
Nice build man And well done with the whole "hidden all over the house for months right under the nose of my lovely wife" thing as well welcome to Bit-Tech
Whow thats really nice for a first job No im kidding, it looks just absolutely nice Whats the hardware in this box?
it doesn't seem to effect the temperature in the case , you can have it running all day and it's just as cool as when its first booted up ! the acrylic drive bay started life as just an AC Ryan bay column and was cut down and holes drilled on the left hand panel and complete sections cut out the diametre of the fans on the right . Love the plexi too. I have been looking at A.C. Ryan Constructx™ BayColumn510 Clear ACR-CX31052 clear plexi HDD tower parts. http://www.performance-pcs.com/cata...uct_info&manufacturers_id=61&products_id=4177 I think with some additional holes like you made it could be a nice piece inside my full tower Lian-Li Your cable management skills are very strong. john
Nice acrylic panel and case feet. This is one a a few projects where I think multiple colours look great together.
About time someone modded a 300. Have one myself and used the case a few times now when building pc's for friends and family. A great case. You've done a great job there and love the clean simple look. Like others have stated the acrylic window looks very well done. Any plans to further mod it?
No, think i'm just going to leave it as it is, plain and simple . Already working on ideas for my next build , perhaps a water cooled rig . Thanks for the positive feedback.
