Very high spec. Very tempting for me. http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/13605547/Asus-G73JH-TZ008V-Core-i7-720QM-1-6-2-8GHz-8GB-1TB-Blu-ray-BD-ROM-Combo-17-Windows-7-Home-Premium-64-Bit-Laptop-Notebook-Black/Product.html?&_$ja=tsid:11518|cc:|prd:13605547|cat:Computers Bit-tech need to test asap please. So does it required an external nuclear power plant to keep running as well? That is one hell of a laptop.
Looks awesome, plus I personally love Asus laptops they're always really well built and feel solid. Plus having the equivalent of a 5770 in a laptop is Cheesecake Hope the cooling potential is up to scratch though.
I've only ever had three laptops go wrong under warranty out of hundreds supplied, they're extremely reliable. The new machines are really cool running as well. Maximum want
its bound to be respectable as its using all mobile parts, unlike some laptops which have desktop parts and have a battery life of 30 mins.
Yeah i'm hoping so. The i7 mobile processors have pretty decent battery life, its just the hd5870 mobile im wondering about!
Well is a 8 cell battery. I think it will be fine for non gaming use. But then I don't mind having it plugged into the mains whilst I'm in bed gaming LOL.
Translated: We have to make it this shape to accommodate the cooling, and we're making you think it's a cool feature
It looks like it will be under $2k here in the US. That is definitely worth looking into, I hope Bit gets to review one. I miss my gaming rig being mobile, and this looks to be great specs at a very good price.
That is a sweet looking lappy, but that is still a large stack of coinage. To large for my limited means.
I'm going to be the first to say: Utterly pointless, it just seems to be a case of, it can be done, thus, it has been done, but the sheer weight and size just isn;t enough to warrant me wanting to spend £1600 for a laptop, that my PC can do better. Still, each to their own. Sam
