As the Title says this is my first Tablet and I am looking for some app recommendations and ideas of what I can use this thing for need to be able to load off USB key, got the OSG usb cable thingy. (I can root If needed) What do I need to do to stream video from my PC what is a good media server software (freeware)? Would like a media player that plays all video formats. What are some great HD apps? Are there any free comics made for tablets? Do I need a comics book reader app (friend reads comix on his.) What makes you go: How did I live without being able to do....... on my Tablet?
MX Player is probably the best video player - it's free. I like n7 for music, although it's not free, the full version is only a couple of quid. Not so sure about streaming media, although I hear AirStream getting mentioned a lot. As for comics, Comic Rack or Komick are probably the two main contenders to Comixology. It depends on what comics you want to read. For me, must have apps are Wiki and IMDB, as well as Tapatalk HD & iPlayer. The main benefit of tablets for me is their portability and convenience - the ability to look something up online or check email from the sofa without having to turn the PC or laptop on.
