My old desktop died so I'd like to try my hand at building a new one.

    Budget: £600 or thereabouts.

Main uses of intended build: Listening to music, hd videos, browsing the internet and maybe some gaming.

Parts required: Base system and keyboard.

Monitor resolution: I'll be using my lcd tv for the time being, it's 1920x1080p.

Storage requirements: I think 1TB would suffice for now.

Will you be overclocking: Don't know. Advice?

Any motherboard requirements (no. of USB, Xfire/SLI, fan headers): 4-5 usb ports. Is usb3 common yet? No need for sli.

Extra information about desired system: My previous system had a quad core q6600, 8600GS and 3gb so I'd like this new build to be a step up from it.

    All help is appreciated, thanks.
