Hey, I've never ever modded before but I'm gonna have a go damn it I want to make my CPU ice cold to fix the problem I've been having seeing temperatures that are just too high on it (http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=169413), and I can't afford/am terrfied of watercooling so I'm not up for that! I just simply want to cut a hole in the side of the case and put a big ass HAF fan on it blowing straigh down on top of the CPU. Lickle bit of googling on the subject says that this can actually be counter productive as it mucks up the airflow inside and was wondering if that was true or not. At the mo my set-up is: Stock 230mm intake + 2 x 120mm HDD bay (Enermax Magma) Stock 2 x 230 roof exhausts + 1 x 120mm rear exhaust (Enermax Magma) And a titan fenrir in the middle of all this. Would fitting a side fan be useful or not, or instead replacing the CPU fan with an Enermax Magma one (higher CFM) and adding a final intake to the bottom?
