    Hi guys,

I am putting together a watercooling solution for my i7-930 CPU. I decided to stick with my corsair 650d as I will only be watercooling the CPU.

Anyway, I may have done this all wrong so let's have a look. Here are a list of the parts I am looking at buying.

    Watercooling

EK PSC 1/4" Thread Compression Fitting for 1/2" ID - 3/4" OD Tubing : Silver x6

XSPC RS Series 240mm Dual Radiator : RS240

XSPC Dual Bay Reservoir with DDC Pro 10 Pump (Bundle Deal)

    Scythe Gentle Typhoon 120mm Case Fan 1450 RPM : D1225C12B4AP-14 X2

    XSPC 1/2" ID - 3/4" OD (13-19mm) High Flex Tubing : Black

    Primochill ICE Non-Conductive Coolant 32oz : Clear

    XSPC Rasa CPU Waterblock Intel 1366, 1156, 1155, 775 : RASA Black

I don't think the waterblock comes with a fitting kit, so may need that as well. What do you all think so far? Don't want to spend crazy amounts but very open to advice to maximise cooling potential.

I assume you've read through my thread? :)

Looks ok, not sure about that CPU block though... The ports look very close together so you may struggle with those fittings, it's a common problem with many water blocks.

That non-conductive coolant is a waste of money too. I know what your thinking 'this way if it leaks then it wont kill my system' I'm afraid you've been mislead. Those coolants are non-conductive at first but a couple of weeks in and dust and metal perticles, as well as metal leaching will make them conductive.

Maybe take a look at the EK H3O kits. It comes with a pretty good set of components. The copper block 240 kits are around 160gbp.

I use a Swifteck Apogee XT, and it's modular so will easily take all fittings :)
