I have a Lian Li PC-61 and will also have a Black Ice Extreme Radiator. I have adapted the hd bay to accommodate 2 instead of 3 drives so height clearence won't be a problem.

There will be the normal 2* 80mm intake fans blowing onto the rad. Thing is, I don't know how to make the rad secure. I don't want it to stand on an edge balancing because if it were too fall over who knows what would happen :duh:

    I'm really stuck for ideas....

How about attaching string rom the drive bay, around the rad and then back to the drive bay. Would allow it to rock gently, but would keep it from being thrown about :) .

I was thinking about getting some plastic acrylic/aluminium and cutting about 5cm wide and 14 cm long(just a incy bit longer than the dimensions) and putting it on the bottom of the case. This would have little 'raisers' at each end and the rad would be secured to the top "shelf".

    Like below....... :hip:

EDIT: Damn, it shifted it to the left, imagine the bottom bit to be on the left aswell.

Saint, dude, check out my project log Metaversa: Heavy Angel to see how I solved this problem. :D

The rails are spaced 0.5mm apart: wide enough for the rubber edging along the bottom of the bracket below. The rad also rests on self-adhesive rubber feet, two of which you see stuck on the case bottom in front of the rails.

Note there is rubber edging at the bottom of the bracket, as well as rubber grommets in the top screw holes: vibration dampening!

Yeah, I was looking through the Project Logs at all the watercooled Lian Li's last night and I came across yours. I was very impressed and would love to snitch your idea, but I don't have the resources/money/skill/patience to do that :sigh:

Well my rad fits exactly under the HDD cage without any modding in my Pc60. To stop it from sliding anywhere I just put a little Blu-Tac on the bottom of it.

Fabricate some brackets, it wont be hard. You could try using two PCI slot covers? :dremel:
