So I've seen it can be done, and done neatly. I'm looking for a mix of performance and quiteness.
There are a few options but i'm leaning towards an ex 240 in the top with either push or pull, and either a double thick rad in the bottom or something akin to another ex with push and pull fans. What do you guys think would give me the best performance?

You can get a thicker rad in the bottom while still having push pull. I'd get something like an alphacool nexxos st45 in the bottom in push pull, with air being pulled into the case along with the front fan. Then an st30 in the top with fans pushing air out along with the rear fan.

Are those fans on top massive or is the radiator tichy? So People aren't a fan of the xspc ex 240's?

I like the chrome SR1, although it could do with a few angled fittings. :hehe:

That is a truly terrible build.

OP - check out the case mod index, I bet there are some in there!

This is my old CM690II build. Its been de-commissioned for some time now in favour of a TJ07 build. The rads i used were two of these. Nothing too fancy. As you can see from the pic, there is a huge amount of space around the lower rad so anything up to a NexXxoS Monsta rad would probably fit with push/ pull fans.

I've got a 60mm think 240 in the bottom with push-pull and a slim 240 in the top (internal). There is just enough room under the mesh at the top to mount fans. Everyday use I run the fans around 600rpm, and bump them upto ~1200rpm for gaming and hit around 55°C on the cpu with the gpu around 48.
