Hi folks, refugee from CPC here. OK I bought some bits and bobs for my 2nd loop but seem to be having a bit of trouble with one thing. Now I got some compression fittings and a couple of meter's of tube I thought would be compatible . Here are the links, can anyone tell me if I got the wrong size tube? or maybe they sent me different sizes by mistake? I am pretty sure it will be the former tbh. Hmm, the fitting just will not screw on when the hose is attached. Would heating the hose with warm water and softening it first help me at all in this matter? I don't even think they have smaller compression fittings so it must be the tubing then eh? Thank's D-Cyph3r Cus
I'd get in touch with WCUK... see what they say about it. The parts should be compatible, but the same thing happened when i bought compression fittings from them, in that case i was using some old hose that i already had so i just assumed i'd got the measurements messed up and left it at that. I'm sure i read somewhere that compression fittings arent extremley reliable... they can split the hoes or something. Dont take my word for that though. They certainly look the neatest
