So I've been a few days, but MAN I've been busy. This is the first of a two-part update, hold on to your butts...

As I said, this is a rebadged Foxconn...

The manifold in place, and getting ready to run some hose.

I'm going to stop pics for a second and talk about why this is here. This setup is a distributed flow setup, not a series or even parallel flow. Each hose is specifically sized to tailor the flow to each block, and each block is removeable and upgradeable. I'm actually running a hybrid linear/distributed setup, as I can't run the pair of 8800s in the distributed loop, so I'm plumbing the distribution manifold into a BIX, then through the pair of 8800s, then into a 2x120 BI Stealth GT.

If I've done my homework right, this should handle the heat of the system no problem, and should be a hell of a lot more fun to play with, as I can press the quick connects and swap out any block I want... and I plan to do so once I've made my own.

    On with setup pics...

And for the moment, this pair of contraptions will plug the open holes in the manifold...

    So much has changed...

The manifold burst, and leaked. Fun.

My Fluid XP review sample destroyed my tubing.

The blocks and pump had to be taken out and cleaned, and the rads had to be flushed.

So, I present the internals in all their glory...

Now for a bit of bracketry work, and starting on the outside...

Actually the pain you feel is usually a combo between your skin being irritated and the cold from the evaporation. Water is one of the worst things you can do and warm water would be REALLY bad. Actually a gently breeze would be better, or simply blowing on it. This increases the evaporation process and it will be gone rather quick, whats worse is getting in your eyes, I've done that about a half a dozen times. Hold your eye open with one hand and fan it with the other.

Back on topic... nice mod you got going, I like the acrylic!

Thanks for that tip, I'm planning more metal stripping in the future, and it should come in handy...
