This week was Fleet Week in NYC, and I took the opportunity to get some practice with my camera.

The shot of heli is basically perfect, just slow enough to blur the ends of the blades. Love it :) The rest are so-so , more just documenting the craft rather than really standing out as being awesome photos. But I love the heli shot :)

Thanks. That's what I like, though - clean, simple shots. With it being a bit hazy all week, and children running around all over the place it was difficult to get anything really eye-popping.

I got lucky with the Cobras since they took several passes, allowing me to try different things. I don't like how they came out with higher shutter speeds so I forced it down a bit and crossed my fingers. Surprisingly, this shot had great contrast as well, so I'm quite pleased with it as well. Could be better, but all in all, I love it too. =)

I'll just give this here a little bump.
