Only have one PCI E x 1 slot on my Sniper and that is blocked by the GTX 980 so I bought one of the blow and that does not work either end.
Still do not have enough space to plug in the extension, though not by much. But at the sound card end Asus Xonar D2X I have no chance if I want it to fix into an IO slot.

Is there anything I can use as surely I am not the first with this issue?

I had this issue a few years ago too. On the motherboard end the fibre glass plate was too tall to allow my triple slot cooler to go over it :(

I assume because of the lack of content in your post you were unable to solve this conundrum?

Mine are too tall both ends by the way.

That sucks. I managed to rectify it by removing the cooler from my GPU and cutting down the posts that held the cooler up to make it dual slot. No idea what Palit were thinking tbh.

Obs useless to you though hence why I didn't bother explaining it before.

Thanks I will look later about see what choices I have.

Have just transferred my gaming PC from a Parvum to a Carbide case. What do you think the chances are of it booting first time?

That rotates the connector, but the wrong way: it points it towards the upper slot.

Does the cable work in another PC? Worth trying to rule out if its faulty.

Well spotted. That would have been awkward if I had bought two of them, which was my plan until I saw delivery costs. Thanks.

Worth working out if what is faulty?
