I've just replaced my old mothernoard and RAM with an MSI NF980-G65 and 6GB of Crucial Ballistix DDR3.

When i'm just on my windows desktop, everything appears to be fine. However as soon as I run any of my games, the game starts up and then the screen flickers constantly several times per second. This does not seem to have any effect on the way the game runs, but obviously having constant flickering maes any game unplayable. I've been through everything, but have no idea what the problem could be.

    I'm using a GTX 295 and I've re-installed all the drivers.

    Any thoughts?

    Cheers

I also get the same problem when running 3D Mark Vantage. It's a really intense flickering.

have you tried running a different monitor and GPU? Just to rule those out for sure.

This problem now seems to have fixed itself following a windows re-activation. Seems odd though.
