Electronics Flip Flop

Hey all,

Could some one post the self build circuit for a basic "flip flop" and the components I need??

P.s - Bit cheeky, but if anyone can post the part numbers for the components from RS or Maplin, then that would be super helpful too, but if not I will have a root through myself.

Search for a JK or D type flip flop and they should come up. They come as a single package.

 

is it a 4027 Dual J-K Flip-Flops with Set and Reset that i need, or 4174 Hex D Flip-Flop with Reset or a 4013 Dual D Flip-Flop with Set and Reset

I would say either the 4027 or 4013....personally ive only used the 4013 but i have the diagrams of both chips if you want them.
