Hi. I'd like to share my mod called, Floating Tech (no project log):

    http://homepage.mac.com/alvin777/PhotoAlbum19.html

When I have time, I plan to create a 3D ponaramic version using only photos (I remember coming across a site that offers that) of so everything including the updated adjustable aluminum table and speakers could be seen. Thanks for looking.

Was also posted here (has more detailed explanation):

You wasted my time linking to another forum with a link to a website that has one picture...

    LOL

The link is to a thread on another forum, which has a link to a mac photo album, which has one (badly composed) photo showing a desk supended on cardboard boxes, and a display/CPU combo suspended either from the wall or ceiling.

Don't delete the thread! This is too funny to simply vanish into the night!!

We could give the OP a chance to redeem himself. I cannot even see how this is a project log though.

Hi. Sorry I'm new here, didn't know it's supposed to post a project log. No harm meant.

Lol. What? One picture? Haha. I did find it funny how you got the glass to be level despite the fact you used completely different boxes on both sides though.

I just measured the boxes then trial and error/gut feel from there. That windshield table's gone already, it's evolved to a hanging table (made of aluminum and adjustable too, probably the cheapest adjustable one so far, lol). The boxes held pretty without any tape or glue (just the weight of the windshield keeps it together) well and was a space saver too (you know where to look if you need the box for the warranty). I thought it's eco-friendly using the boxes for something else. Will upload a few pix there when time allows.

No problem. Everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt, it's just that we've seen some bizarre things before.

I'm looking forward to seeing the new photos of your floating setup! =)

How did you cope with the curved surface?
