Cooling flowmeter with max. flow 17l/m and pump AP1500 together

    i have pump AP1500

    and would like to know if it is possible to mount T-flow flowmeter T-Flow flowmeter

    as the pump has 1500l/h (25l/min)? ok 25l/min theoretically.
    that is 8l more that stays in max flow for flowmeter. if i connect these two things together would i be able to read the flows or this simply wont work becouse the pump is too strong?

    You might want to check these out. They can be connected to the motherboard to a fan header and any program that can read the rpm of the fans can read the flowspeed (just a simple calculation). It can handle more flow so this might be safer to use, you'll know it'll work.

    i have never used one of these flow meters but i think that the blocks will reduce the flow some what especially if its a 10mm set up.

    looking this thread, the flow rates of the pumps drop dramatically when you add a block

    I think Risky has an AP1500 and a tBalencer. IIRC he has the flowmeter also, but im not sure if he uses it.

    What blocks do you have in your loop? Until i changed hardware i had an AP1500 with a NexXxos XP and i dont think there would be a problem adding it.

    Having said that the swissflow one is much less intrusive and would be the one i choose.
