I have a big partition (e:) on my hard drive for all my music, videos etc etc. In Windows MCE it is all too easy to delete videos by accident when you finish watching them, so I made the whole of the partition read-only.

Since then, I have reinstalled Windows (MCE) on the c: partition and I can obviously read the files from the e: partition. But it won't let me change the read-only bit from the partition which is incredible annoying as now I can't write anything to the drive. I am guessing this is something to do with admin rights and folder permissions?

How do I get it back?

    Thanks.
