I bet this is a quick fix, but after google and searching the forums I got nothing.

The problem I have is organizing mp3s by date when the folder they're in was automatically set up with all the audio properties. It makes a big difference about the date because a lot of my files are internet radio recordings with the crossfades applied by the station.

    Thanks in advance

To sort MP3s and other audio files into order by creation date:

    1. Change the folder view to Details
    2. Right click on one of the tabs at the top of the list and tick the columns you want (Date Created)
    3. Click the Date Created tab to sort the files by date
    4. Change the folder view back to your preferred view
