speaking from a LIITTTLllee esxperience, Newcastle is a bit over the top if it's just a couple days you are going to be there. You really need more than that to see and do everything right and proper. and I'm from the states, but have been there... It's a RIOT... but not for the weak stomached, or minded...
couple "underground" things there too... but much fun.

There can be 6" of snow on the ground and women (term used loosely... 'loose' used implicatively) from Newcastle will be walking round in a boob tube and micro skirt clutching a tiny handbag containing a phone, purse, fags and lighter....

    ...I'm so glad I'm not a local.

In reply to the original post :p

There are some fantastic places in london to go out. The west end has lots of theatre, obviously. Leicester Square has a few cinemas, and some nice eateries. Venture into Soho for some of the best bars in London - I can recommend Bar Freedom on Wardour street, as well as any of the pubs down that road. Of course, you could always go for The Windmill Club on Windmill St :naughty:

The only thing I know of Newcastle is that Brown Ale is brewed there.

You're not the first person to have told me that - we were supposed to go to the Arena but it was closed :( And the Mayfiar has closed down apparently.

wehey theres geordie lads on bit-tech!!

Newcastle is a blast when you know where your going! quite alot of the bars or spread out unless u head down to the quay side!

Had my first trip to the other night to Trillians and i was like :jawdrop: this the biggest **** hole in newcastle by far!!! unless your into death metal/ people in there 40+ with more tattooes, piercings and beards(including the women :worried: ) then you can shake a stick at!

Blue Bambu is alright if you dont mind queing expect entry fee and rappage for the price of drinks! on the plus side the have dancers which is always gd :thumb:

In animate...The worst thing is that I'm sober.

I wouldn't know about clubs...the only time I go out is for gigs.

    The offie is my friend.
