The GT-40 was one of the only Fords I ever loved... they finally have started producing them... only 40 years too late

The new rendition fosters closely to the original design with some modern flair..

Whoo! That's cool! 1st Dodge re-releases the Hemi then Pontiac re-releases the GTO and now Ford is building the GT!

Very nice car, I've got a magazine here with it road tested against a Ferrari F360 and the Ford whips its ass on the road, but not so accomplished on track (even though it was quicker round the circuit than the Ferrari)

Always loved the look of the GT 40 and I love the new GT

*drools* That is one serious piece of motor. Too bad that most people will never see one on the road, let alone drive/own one...

Ford are only shipping 300 GT-40s to Europe which kinda sucks they are a mental motor.

Clarkson did a test of the GT on Top Gear last night. He liked it. Looks like an awesome motor.

Aparently Ford dealers in the UK are taking orders already.

the GT 40 was designed and made in Britan (by English division of Ford so i believe), so it's kinda British styling, and seeing as though the GT is based on the GT40 i guess that's not really american styling either.

    lubbly, lubbly, lubbly car

Yeah, a lot of the GT is British again, according to the lanky one on Top Gear. Lotus suspension, some blokes from somewhere else did something else, etc etc.

after seeing it in action i must say i'm more impressed. it doesn't seem to look quite right in photos but on film looked much better. i know i'll get slated but i dont like the way it sounds.

saying that i certainly wouldn't complain if i was 'forced' to have one :p
